Grazing School

The Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a grazing school in September.  Mark your calendars now and check with the district for a registration form to be mailed to you when available.

Wednesday and Thursday--September 24th and 25th. We will begin about 9 a.m. and end about 3 p.m.  Snacks, lunch and drinks will be provided with the registration fee of $75 which also includes all materials.  A spouse may also attend at the cost of $30. This will cover everything except the materials, as only one set of materials will be provided to a couple.

A tour of an existing grazing system will be toured and designs of your own system will be worked on.  You will need to bring an aerial photo of your property, so please contact your local FSA or SWCD office for this photo.

For more information or to put your name on the list for registration, just give us a call at 660-547-2351, ext. 3 or stop by the office at 535 N. Highway 65 in Lincoln.
