Rental Equipment
Boone County SWCD does not have rental equipment available. Please check the neighboring counties for grass drilling equipment and straw/hay mulchers.
BURN EQUIPMENT:
Boone County SWCD in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation Private Land Conservationist will loan out burn equipment for controlled burns if the landowner has a burn plan and has burning experience or has been to burn school. Equipment is loaned out for the weekend or for a two to three day period. The following equipment is available; you must call ahead to reserve the equipment. Any equipment not returned or returned damaged will be billed to the landowner.
- 3 drip torches (these must be returned empty)
- 3 bladder bags (these must be returned empty)
- 5 flappers (these must be returned clean)
- 2 rakes
Dibble Bars (Tree Planting Bars):
Boone County SWCD in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation Private Land Conservationist will loan out tree planting bars to plant bareroot seedlings. Any equipment not returned or returned damaged will be billed to the landowner.
- 8 Dibble Bars (these must be returned clean)
