Board Members
Long time member decides to retire from the Greene County SWCD board.

Joann Pipkin presents Jan Wooten with a length of service award from the Greene County SWCD.
Jan Wooten decided to retire in March after twenty years of service on the Greene County SWCD board of supervisors. Jan has been a very vocal advocate for the farmers in Greene County through her work on the SWCD Board and on other community groups. She has served on the Planning and Zonning Board, Vision 20/20 Focus group, Ozark Greenways and the Blueberry Council of Missouri. Recently, she has been appointed to the Greene County Extension Council as well. She and her husband Michael own Sunshine Valley Farms Cafe and Bakery at AD and 125 Highway on the east side of the county. There they raise apples, peaches, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries as well as vegetables for the resturant. She plans to spend her extra time working in the orchard and visiting freinds and family. The Greene County SWCD thanks her for her service and wishes her the best.
