Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District

The Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District is governed by a board of supervisors comprised of five members. Four members are elected to a four-year term. The fifth member is appointed by the University of Missouri Extension. Each of the elected board members represents a different area of the county.

  • Be a land representative.
  • Be a resident taxpaying citizen within that SWCD for two years preceding the election date.
  • Be a cooperator of the SWCD.
  • Reside in or own a farm lying in the same territory where the
  • nominating committee has responsibility.
