Dean and Paula Guier
2007 Conservation Cooperator of the Year
The cooperator of the year award is given to someone who strives to improve and preserve the resources that they have today for tomorrow. This year's recipients are Dean and Paula Guier, and they continue to do just that. After being married in 1973, they started farming together. They have three children, Gregory, Krystal and Clint and a grandson Logan. Together they farm 1,000 acres and have over 100 head cow/calf operation. Although they are very busy, staying active in the community is also important to them. They also have shown a great deal of kindness toward humanity having been on several mission trips. Raising their children and working together has been their most valuable purpose.
