2008 Pasture Management Recipients
Delbert and Brenda Tate
The Pasture Management Award is presented to individuals who are doing an outstanding job of forage management and have an understanding of how their management style effects the environment.
This year's award winners have a dairy operation and beef cow/calf operation. They also background their own calves.
Their farm has been divided into many pastures. Livestock water has been made available throughout the grazing system with pipeline and tanks. Cattle are rotated to provide for rest and regrowth of pastures.
We are pleased to present this year's Pasture Management Award to Delbert and Brenda Tate for their outstanding achievements.
